Madeline Ngo is currently a senior at Newton North High School. She has been reporting for The Newtonite, Newton North’s school newspaper, since her freshman year. Throughout her career, she has published more than 30 articles across sections and has earned recognition from the New England Scholastic Press Association for her reporting. She attended journalism conferences at both Columbia University and Boston University, and during the Newton Teachers Association strike in 2024, she broke coverage for her school paper. She aspires to continue her career in journalism after high school, studying writing in college.
